2010 UIC Campus Master Plan - Executive Summary, University of Illinois at Chicago
This study aspires to create a physical environment that will become a destination for students, faculty, staff and visitors, fully supporting UIC's role as one of the nation's premier urban public research universities. Includes integration of buildings and open spaces, definition and establishment of the campus core, definition of entry points and edges, reinforcement of pedestrian circulation, connecting public spaces, connective transit, improvement of environmental quality, visual identity, creation of meaningful open spaces, removal of barriers, defining boundaries.

Primary attention has been given to defining specifications for the facilities required to replace the two-year program in operation in 1960 at Navy Pier.

Accessibility analysis done at the University of Illinois at the Medical Center "in order to begin to understand the many complex and oftentimes interrelated issues confronting a handicapped individual in regards to fixed facilities on campus." The report focuses on individuals using a wheelchair.
