The Dr. Chester Danehower Collection comprises a variety of medical artifacts related to dermatology, including formulary cards, a pamphlet, book plates (source unknown), and a stereoscope with cards. Items were given to the Library of the Health Sciences — Peoria in 2014 and 2015 by Dr. Chester and Mrs. George Ann Danehower. Dr. Danehower was a faculty member in the Dermatology department within the University of Illinois College of Medicine at Peoria. All items in this collection have been digitized. Some of this collection is on display in the Library of the Health Sciences Peoria.
