The Chicago Flame was an independent student-run newspaper serving the University of Illinois at Chicago community from 1988-2011. Its predecessor was the Chicago Illini (1962-1988). This newspaper was financed through advertising and written by and for the students at UIC. It contains information about student activities, sports, and campus organizations and issues.
