View to the west along West Chicago Avenue from east of the intersection with North Clark Street. The Michael Reese Service League Thrift Shop at 54 West Chicago Avenue (building now part of the Alliance Francaise) is visible on the extreme right. The Park National Bank (originally Cosmopolitan State Bank) and the 800 North Clark Street Building (originally Bush Temple of Music) are behind it. The brown brick high-rise seen against the sky is part of the Moody Bible Institute. In the distance, near the center of the image, the Montgomery Ward & Company headquarters (now The Montgomery condominiums) and the tower of the old Montgomery Ward Administration Building are visible.
