View east along West Locust Street towards the CTA elevated train tracks crossing over the street (now part of Brown and Purple Lines). 312 West Chestnut is immediately beyond the tracks at the right, and 900 North Franklin is at the left. In the distance, West Locust Street ends at the intersection with North Wells Street, and the John Hancock Center rises behind.
