In the distance at the upper right is the Holiday Inn Chicago City Centre (now a Doubletree hotel). The Veteran's Administration Research Hospital (later V.A. Lakeside Medical Center) formerly at 333 East Huron Street (demolished), is the grey building to the left of the hotel. At the left is the red brick Underwriters Laboratories building (demolished), with high-rises at 230 and 233 East Ontario Street behind it.
