Building a brick wall around the ComEd substation

 

Workers excavating a trench along the south facade of the Vernon Park Commonwealth Edison (ComEd) electrical substation on campus, in preparation for constructing a foundation for a brick wall to cover that building's south facade. The substation building and brick wall surrounding the substation were demolished in 2017.
