During the mid-1990s the Chicago Board of Education hired Copelin Commercial Photographers to take photographs of the city's educational facilities in an effort to assess the extent of the repairs necessary to improve the physical conditions of schools. "See" and "see also" references in the Notes field indicate that you may need to consult several folders to find all images related to a particular public school.
