View east during late stages of construction of the Art & Architecture Building (part of Phase 2 of campus construction). The enclosed elevated walkway connecting the building to the main spine of the walkway system passes over the Commonwealth Edison (ComEd) electrical substation (demolished 2017) at the lower left. The Union Tower (Student Center East Tower) is at the upper right. South Halsted Street and the Dan Ryan Expressway (I-94) are beyond that near the top of the photograph. The intersection of South Halsted and West Harrison Streets is at the upper left.
