Summary: A story about a young boy whose family has moved to Kendal from Savanna-la-mar, Jamaica; he captures Mr. Big, a chicken hawk, joins a secret club, and befriends Baba, a lonely old man. After capturing the hawk in order to join the club, Jim rejects club membership and arranges a new life for the hawk.
