Storage facilities along the Chicago River with skyline behind

View to northwest towards Near North Side high-rise buildings, with warehouses and storage sheds along the north side of the Chicago River in the foreground. A ship is docked alongside one of the riverside storage facilities. The horizontal brown brick building is the Mandel Building (Mandel-Lear Building) formerly at 211 East North Water Street, now demolished. The IBM Building (330 North Wabash) is seen under construction at the left. Forming the skyline to its right are the Equitable Building (401 North Michigan Avenue), the Tribune Tower, and the Sheraton Hotel (originally the Medinah Club building.)
