Hull House Association sold Bowen Country Club in 1963 and used the proceeds to purchase 400 acres in Wisconsin, which became a work camp, Art and Music Camp, VISTA training center, and recreation center, all designed by Hull-House alumnus William Deknatel. It closed within a few years and the property was sold in 1972. Photo appeared on page 41 of the July 29, 1966 edition of the Chicago Tribune with the article "Inner City Youths Build Rapport at Camp," by Nancy Moss.
