The building is nine hundred feet long and ten stories in height at its center. It faces upon a five acre park fronting Lake Michigan. Albert Kahn of Detroit is the architect, and Walter Dorwin Teague of New York, the industrial designer, is in charge of the interior display.

The Hupmobile exhibit at A Century of Progress International Exposition, ca. 1933-1934.

The exhibit here displays the interior of the vehicle, allowing patrons to see the frame and engine clearly. The Hupmobile was manufactured by the Hupp Motor Company of Detroit, founded by Craig and Louis Hupp in 1908. Hupp Motors manufactured automobiles from 1909 to 1940, when the company went out of business.
