View looking southeast from North Kingsbury Street, from just south of the intersection with West Chicago Avenue. Parking lots for the Montgomery Ward Company headquarters occupy the block from North Kingsbury Street to North Hudson Street, and the next block to the south, between West Superior and West Huron Streets. The rear of 400 West Superior Street/ 740 North Sedgwick Street can be seen facing North Hudson Street. The tan brick building at the southeast corner of North Hudson and West Superior Streets has since been demolished. The John Hancock Center rises on the left, and on the right side of the photograph, the Marina City towers are visible.
