Many of the 35 mm negatives document damage and deterioration on Chicago's bridges, viaducts and underpasses that need repair though some frames provide a general view of the bridges at the time they were taken. This folder includes images of N. Milwaukee Ave, North Ave, Oakwood Blvd, S. Throop St.,W. Polk St., W. Randolph St., W. Roosevelt Rd., N. State St., and N. Stetson Ave.

Industrial buildings along North Branch of Chicago River
View looking north along the North Branch of the Chicago River from north of West Division Street. On the left is the Chicago Rawhide Manufacturing Company factory (demolished). Farther up the river, a coal yard and coal barge are visible at the riverfront. In the distance behind these is the red brick Procter & Gamble plant with its two smokestacks (demolished). On the right is a Peoples Gas Light & Coke Company gas holder, part of the former Willow Street Station Manufactured Gas Plant Site (demolished).

Material Service Corporation facilties
