Many of the 35 mm negatives document damage and deterioration on Chicago's bridges, viaducts and underpasses that need repair though some frames provide a general view of the bridges at the time they were taken.

Jackson Park elevated train tracks and South East National Bank
View looking west along East 63rd Street from the intersection with South Woodlawn Avenue. The elevated CTA tracks of the Jackson Park line (demolished) run along East 63rd. The South East National Bank (demolished, originally Woodlawn Trust and Savings Bank) is behind the tracks, on the northwest corner of the intersection. Other retail businesses are visible behind the tracks to the left of the bank.

Community Activities bring the city's government into the neighborhood. Mayor Richard J. Daley's campaign for a cleaner Chicago reached out to students in Chicago's schools and made them part of the Junior Citizen's Committee for a Cleaner Chicago. 1972 community activities at: John Addams, Annunciata, Bethlehem Lutheran, Orville T.
