View northwest along the North Branch of the Chicago River from the Holiday Inn Mart Plaza Hotel (350 W. Mart Center Drive). The West Grand Avenue bridge, and the Ohio Street bridge directly behind it, span the river. A tugboat with a barge attached is moored along the west bank of the river, adjacent to an industrial area. A number of industrial buildings, including the Wallace Press Building, and Kirchheimer Brothers Paper Company (417 West Ohio Street) stand along North Kingsbury Street on the east side of the river. The Montgomery Ward Catalog and Retail Sales building (Mail Order House) and the Montgomery Ward Administration building are further north, along the east bank of the river. The Montgomery Ward & Company Headquarters tower rises to their right. At the far left, multiple railroad tracks are visible.
