A parking lot is on the east side of Wells Street, and behind it at the right, the rear of the LaSalle Park Apartments (1140 North LaSalle Street) is visible. The LaSalle Towers Apartments (1211 North LaSalle Street) is to the left of it. Eliot House, part of the Sandburg Village development, is behind the trees to the left of the LaSalle Towers.

North Kingsbury Street and West Superior Street
View looking southeast from North Kingsbury Street, from just south of the intersection with West Chicago Avenue. Parking lots for the Montgomery Ward Company headquarters occupy the block from North Kingsbury Street to North Hudson Street, and the next block to the south, between West Superior and West Huron Streets. The rear of 400 West Superior Street/ 740 North Sedgwick Street can be seen facing North Hudson Street. The tan brick building at the southeast corner of North Hudson and West Superior Streets has since been demolished. The John Hancock Center rises on the left, and on the right side of the photograph, the Marina City towers are visible.

East Ohio Street from Wabash Avenue
View to east along East Ohio Street from the intersection with North Wabash Avenue. A parking lot with a large billboard celebrating the American Bicentennial is on the north side of Ohio Street between Wabash Avenue and Rush Street. The office and commercial building in the center of the image stood at 100 East Ohio Street. Olson Rug occupied the ground floor at the time of the photograph. The 625 North Michigan building rises behind it. The Croydon Hotel (now The James Hotel) is at the far left, and the St. Clair hotel (formerly at 162 East Ohio Street) is at the far right.
