Shopping mall and community college complex
Hand-drawn site plan by C. William Brubaker of a combined shopping center and community college complex. A central cross-shaped mall connects each of the four large anchor spaces at the ends of the arms of the cross. Smaller spaces for labs, classrooms and shops are accessed from the central mall. Parking surrounds the complex on all sides.

River City, proposed site
View looking south from the Willis Tower (originally Sears Tower) at an open site along the east bank of the South Branch of the Chicago RIver, proposed for Bertrand Goldberg's River City residential complex. The cloverleaf interchange for the I-290 is at the bottom of the photograph; West Harrison Street abuts its south end, and the proposed site extends south of that.
