Mies van der Rohe office buildings
View to the west from the Chicago River, with three of Mies' office buildings. Two Illinois Center (233 North Michigan Avenue) is under construction on the left. One Illinois Center (111 East Wacker Drive) stands next to it. Both these buildings are part of the Illinois Center complex. The IBM building (330 North Wabash) stands on the right, behind the old Sun-Times building. In the foreground, land along the south side of the Chicago River has been cleared for development.

Lake Point Tower rises on the left, and the towers of the Navy Pier Terminal Building are visible in the center distance, beyond North Lake Shore Drive.
