Community Activities bring the city's government into the neighborhood. Mayor Richard J. Daley's campaign for a cleaner Chicago reached out to students in Chicago's schools and made them part of the Junior Citizen's Committee for a Cleaner Chicago. 1973 community activities at: George F. Cassell, John J. Duffy, Mount Greenwood; St. Cajetan; and St. Christina schools; John F. Eberhart, Mary Star of the Sea, Nativity BVM, and St. Adrian schools; Adams Apple Distributing Co., Aetna State Bank, Bea Leau Realty, Consolidated Liquors, Lawndale Unban Progress Center, Lincoln Park Conservatory Assn., Northwest national Bank, Portage and Belmont Library, Rogers Park Community Council, and Scandinavian Furniture Store; other unidentified community activities
