Bridges, viaducts, and underpasses: Moveable bridges of Chicago (Folder 59)
Community Activities bring the city's government into the neighborhood. Mayor Richard J. Daley's campaign for a cleaner Chicago reached out to students in Chicago's schools and made them part of the Junior Citizen's Committee for a Cleaner Chicago.

Bridges and viaducts: Indiana Ave. Bridge through Lake Shore Drive. Many of the 35 mm negatives document damage and deterioration on Chicago's bridges, viaducts and underpasses that need repair though some frames provide a general view of the bridges at the time they were taken. Bridges and viaducts include: Indiana Ave. Bridge; Irving Park Rd. Bridge (including 1 print); Kinzie St. Ramp; W. Lake St. Bridge; Lake Shore Dr. (Irving Park Rd. Belmont); Lake Shore Dr. (Foster, Lawrence, Montrose Viaducts); Lake Shore Drive (Outer Drive Bridge. Ogden Slip; Lake Shore Drive (Wilson Ave. Viaduct).

East Chicago South Shore Line Station
