Mergenthaler Linotype Building, Renovation
View of the south facade during conversion of the Mergenthaler Company's former printing loft, located at 531 South Plymouth Court (at W. Harrison Street), into residential condominiums. Installation is in progress on new bay windows that protrude out at an angle from the building's south wall. These windows also serve as small walk-on spaces.

Dearborn Park residential development

These townhomes and the high-rise apartment buildings behind them are part of the Dearborn Park development. The two high-rises are Dearborn Park High Rise I (899 South Plymouth Court) and Dearborn Park High Rise II (901 South Plymouth Court).

View looking northeast at Near North Side skyscrapers and towards the lake. Millennium Park now stands where the gable-roofed high-rise and parking lot are in the lower right. 150 N. Michigan Avenue (Crain Communications Building) is in the lower left corner, with the Prudential Building (now One Prudential Plaza), Two Prudential Plaza and the Amoco Building (now Aon Center, originally Standard Oil Building) to the right. A cluster of apartment buildings is in the middle right. These are Buckingham Plaza and 400 East Randolph, and behind them, North Harbor Tower and Harbor Point.
