Image
Image
View of restaurants located in nineteenth-century residential buildings along the east side of North Rush Street. At the far right of the image is Armando's Restaurant, at Rush and East Superior Streets. A large sign for Club Alabam (747 North Rush Street), a dining and dance establishment, stands on the rooftops near the center of the image. On the left is the south facade - facing Chicago Avenue - of Water Tower Hyatt House hotel (originally Water Tower Inn). Part of the John Hancock Center is visible at the upper right.
