Three of these structures are still standing - the partially visible brick building on the extreme left, and the two buildings next to it (20-22 West Ontario, 18 West Ontario; and 16 West Ontario.) The John Hancock Center and Water Tower Place rise behind them. A street-level parking lot is in the foreground.

View looking north along the sidewalk on the west side of North Dearborn Street, at the entrance to the parking structure for Asbury Plaza apartment tower which adjoins the north side of the building. Landscaped beds with flowers and small trees enhance the entrance area and separate the garage entrance from the sidewalk. The Fewkes Tower apartments are visible on the upper right.
