Chicago Flame 793 objects
The Chicago Flame was an independent student-run newspaper serving the University of Illinois at Chicago community from 1988-2011. It contains information about student activities, sports, and campus organizations and issues.


Architecture and Arts Oral History Project 20 objects
This collection contains sound files and transcripts of oral history interviews conducted with former Art and Architecture faculty members. The collection was created by Eileen Broido, working on a celebration of the history of the College in 2007. It also contains some biographical information compiled by Broido.


The Circle Yearbook 13 objects
Students at the Circle campus published an annual yearbook from 1966 through 1977. The final yearbook included the senior classes for both 1980 and 1981. The yearbooks were titled “The Circle Yearbook” with the exception of the the 1973 and 1980-81 editions. The 1973 edition was named “Circa: Chicago Circle Annual,” and the 1980-81 edition was “Concentric Circle.”


UIC Photograph Subject Files, 1960-1990 1541 objects
The Photograph Subject Files contain photographs of the University of Illinois Chicago beginning with the construction of the Chicago Circle campus in the mid 1960s until the late 1980s, including images of the construction of the campus, campus buildings, university events and ceremonies including graduation and commencement, classroom scenes, student activities, and athletics.

Since its founding in 1983, Gallery 400, a not-for-profit arts exhibition space at the University of Illinois Chicago, has presented exhibitions and programs that address a broad range of recent developments and aesthetic concerns and have included more than 1,000 artists to date.
