Chicago Area Pharmacy Photographs 131 objects
This collection of 35 mm color slides of Chicago and suburban drugstores was created by an unidentified photographer in 1955. It depicts pharmacies in various Chicago neighborhoods and suburbs. This collection was donated by Dr. Richard J. Anzalone, an alumnus of the College of Pharmacy, and retired Clinical Assistant Professor, Department of Pharmacy Practice.


College of Physicians and Surgeons of Chicago – Class Photos 26 objects
This is a collection of composite photographs of past graduating classes of the College of Physicians and Surgeons of Chicago. The images date from 1882 through 1912. All photographs are black and white and feature head shots of members of the class with their names. In some cases, members of the College faculty or administration are included in the composites.

Illinois Training School for Nurses records 11 objects
The Illinois Training School for Nurses (ITSN) was established September 21, 1880 by a group of prominent Chicago women dedicated to the prospect of training young women to care scientifically for the sick. Twenty-five directors, all female, headed the project. The records of the Illinois Training School for Nurses (ITSN) document the history of the school from its inception until well after it ceased operation.


David Page Papers 1128 objects
The University of Illinois Arithmetic Project was created in the fall of 1958 and was directed by Professor David Page. Over a five year period the staff of this project created an entirely new elementary mathematics course including textbooks and suitable teaching aids. This collection includes titled worksheets that progressively increase in difficulty.


Paul Peck Collection of Medical Art 447 objects
Paul Norman Peck, PhD. (1907-1982) was an influential medical illustrator who compiled numerous anatomy, pathology, and surgery atlases during his career. This collection includes least two medical atlases published by Merck & Co. The illustrations depict various body structures, functions, and ailments.


Adrian Scheltes collection 66 objects
The Adrian Scheltes collection contains photographs either taken by or collected by Scheltes while he was the Supervisor of Counsel and Guidance for the Blind from the Illinois Division of Vocational Rehabilitation in the late 1940s and early 1950s.
