A Century of Progress records

A Century of Progress International Exposition was held in Chicago during the summers of 1933 and 1934 to commemorate the incorporation of the city in 1833. This collection consists of the extant operating records of A Century Progress World's Fair.

1898 model automobile built by the Duryea Motor Wagon Company
Duryea began manufacturing automobiles in 1895 and was the first American company to build gasoline-powered vehicle in the United States.

Conception by Hugh Ferriss of how the Ford Exhibition building will look at night
The building is nine hundred feet long and ten stories in height at its center. It faces upon a five acre park fronting Lake Michigan. Albert Kahn of Detroit is the architect, and Walter Dorwin Teague of New York, the industrial designer, is in charge of the interior display.

The General Motors exhibit at A Century of Progress.
The main exhibit featured a display of automotive parts and an assembly room where 1,000 people at a time can watch an automobile being manufactured.
